FAIRY TALES ABOUT MESCALINE CACTI

FAIRY TALES ABOUT MESCALINE CACTI

Many fairy tales and erroneous texts can be read on websites of:
1. Smartshops, where regularly even the wrong species are offered ....
And the wrong dosages, and many more incorrect stories.
2. Forums, here you can expect everything.
3. Information sites of governments and public organisations .....
4. Research institutes like the R.I.V.M., where a major report from 1999 said something very strange anyway.
5. Wikispaces, where a few individuals merged texts from many sources in June 2011 (hfs443).
PP is also quoted several times with each article, only there is often incorrect info from other sources there ......
Or there is no mention of PP being quoted, even though our texts were taken almost verbatim.
Compiling texts from erroneous sources makes little sense if you don't know anything about them!
Even with logical thinking you can easily pick out the errors.
6. Wikipedia Netherlands.
With three errors in the first two lines, not very reliable.

And these are just a few of the many erroneous publications !
Some Dutch texts on the internet contain sentences with three or more errors !

Misleading
Not to mention misleading texts, such as:
1. absolutely the wrong name for a Mescaline Cactus !
Since June 2011, false Achuma Cacti have been offered in the Netherlands.
The Cactus in the photo is definitely not an Achuma Cactus (Trichocereus bridgesii).
The False Peyote is also often offered as a real Peyote.
See: Swapped Mescaline Cactus species.
2. a photo of another Cactus accompanying a particular Mescaline Cactus.
3. absolutely untrue age of a Peyote Cactus (20 years !).
The older a Peyote, the more valuable, and the sooner a customer is willing to pay a lot for such a Peyote.
The rounder, shinier and longer a Peyote is, the faster that Peyote has grown.
4. Peyote Decipiens (stronger than the Peyote Williamsii).
Lophophora williamsii variety / forma decipiens is a variety or form of Lophophora williamsii (Peyote).
And probably has the same properties as Lophophora williamsii (common Peyote).
Publications or studies on Lophophora williamsii variety / forma decipiens are NOT known to us !

Advice
Furthermore, we recommend two really good books on Mescaline Cacti.
At least then you will know a lot of basic information.
With this basic info and logical thinking you can then see through a lot of nonsense.

Anderson & Trout
Both writers are very learned, and have made the Mescaline Cactus in question their life's work.
They both know a lot about Cacti and Mescaline Cacti.
These are the books:
1. Anderson - Peyote, the divine Cactus (2nd edition) .
2. Trout - San Pedro & related Trichocereus species .

Quiz
You can also see the texts below as a quiz.
If you know all the right answers, then you have a clue!
If you don't know what's wrong, you can read many articles on our website.
Or read a very good book about the Peyote or the San Pedro Cactus.
