Plastic label card with punched-out stick in labels that are easy to detach.
The special double-sided coating is printable in HD quality in black-and-white and in colour!
These cards are intended for double-sided printing with a laser printer.

TWO THICKNESSES
The thicker sticker cards have stronger labels than the thinner cards.
Thicker stick in labels make it easier to stick into a jar with stony soil.
1. Thicker quality: 0.35 mm thick (350 mu)
These stick-on labels are almost twice as thick as the thinner 0.19 mm (190 mu) thick label cards.
These insert labels are highly resistant to tearing and moisture (water).
2. Thinner quality: 0.17 mm thick (170 mu)
These plug-in labels are half as thick as thicker 0.350 mm (190 mu) label cards.
These plug-in labels are highly resistant to tearing and moisture (water).
Easier to insert
These thicker stab labels are easier to stick along the edge of a jar.
The tip of this label is in the middle, which also makes insertion easier.
This easier insertion is especially important if the substrate is compact.
For example, with stony substrates such as bims (pumice), lava (grit), flugsand.
Card remnants
When the labels are torn off, three strips of plastic card remain.
The two wider strips can be used as small plug-in labels, for example as sowing labels.
With a sowing number, an abbreviation or a date on it.

3 to 4 lines of text can be printed on the narrower 1.7 cm stab labels.
But you can also print a bar code or a small QR code on them.

Remains of the card
When the labels are torn off, two strips of plastic card remain.
You can cut the narrow strip on the left (21 x 0.8 cm) 2 or 5 times.
You will then have 3 8 x 0.8 cm. sowing labels or 6 4 x 0.8 cm. short sowing labels.
You can cut the wider strip of the right side 6 times.
You then have 7 small labels that can be used as sowing labels.
With a sowing number, an abbreviation, or a date on it.
Then you have a total of 6 normal sowing labels and 3 narrow sowing labels and 7 sowing labels.

PRINTING WITH A LASER PRINTER

The two-sided coating makes this label card easy to print and write on both sides.
This label card can be printed with a laser printer in black-and-white and colour in HD quality!
With a laser printer, the colour pigments are burned into the label under high temperature.
As a result, these labels remain legible for a very long time and are much less susceptible to fading and weathering.
Applications of this 0.35 mu thick plug-in label
You can print 6 to 8 lines of text on this 3.5 cm wide stick-on label.
But you can also print a photo, barcode or QR code on it.
Both on the front and on the back.
Laser printer paper thickness
It is important that the laser printer can print on heavier (and therefore thicker) paper.
After all, the laser printer needs some distance from the thicker paper.
You can set this distance in advance in the printer settings.
Setting the paper thickness
For the 350 mu card, the laser printer should be able to print around 256 - 320 gsm paper.
The 256-gram paper setting works well for us with the thick 350 mu A5 label card.
Otherwise try it out beforehand to see if it prints well.
Setting the paper type
Set the laser printer to cardboard.
Multi Purpose Tray (‘MPT’)
The label card should be placed in the Multi-Purpose Tray of a laser printer.
This is because paper in this tray is less bent, and can therefore be fed through and printed better.

PRINTING WITH AN INKJET PRINTER ?
|
Printing with an inkjet printer does not work well.
The ink is printed on the label, and is not too tight.
Which makes it come off easier when you rub it.
With a laser printer, the colour pigments are burned onto the label under high temperature.
As a result, these labels remain legible for a very long time, and are much less susceptible to discolouration and weathering.
