MESCALINE CONTENT OF MESCALINE CACTI
MESCALINE CONTENT OF MESCALINE CACTI
Literature on Mescaline Cacti shows that :
1. older Mescaline Cacti contain more Mescaline than younger ones of the same size.
2. the highest concentration of Mescaline is in the outer green tissue layer.
3. slowly and sun-grown natural Mescaline Cacti contain more Mescaline,
than fast, fertiliser-grown Mescaline Cacti with little sun.
Note the important differences below !
Note the difference between:
1.1 a fresh Mescaline Cactus, and a dried Mescaline Cactus.
The water content of a fresh Echinopsis (Trichocereus) pachanoi is about 93.5%
(according to Poisson, 1960).
1.2 the percentage (= % = per 100 = 1/100), and mg per 100 grams (1 milligram = 1/1000 grams).
1.3 the analysis of the whole Cactus, or only the outer green tissue layer.
This outer tissue layer contains relatively more Mescaline.

This chlorenchyme layer with chlorophyll contains relatively more Mescaline.
